I was itching to take some pictures this afternoon, so after snapping my daily rice paddy picture, I roamed the neighborhood looking for something, anything interesting. I contemplated taking pictures of all the signs around here, but realized how boring that would be.
So my fate was sealed, and it was off to the beach. It was overcast and even a bit drizzly at times, but the water was fantastically calm with just some slow rollers washing ashore. The water's still a bit chilly, but not so much so that it would prevent a dip on a hot, sunny day. Soon enough.

What's the water temperature?
not positive but it has to be around 65 or so...not freezing but not warm enough to just jump in on a cloudy day...i think it was warmer around this time last year and the year before, but hopefully it'll be warming up soon...of course, with the warm waters come the jellyfish...
brrrrr. Reminds me of growing up as a kid in NH and my mom taking me and my brothers to Wells Beach in Maine. That was some chilly ocean water. At Folly Beach, just outside Charleston, SC the water is about 82 right now. Almost toasty.
yeah, a far cry from SC at the moment, but i'll be testing out the cape cod beaches before too long...do you hit the beach often down there?
