Garden State

Despite my worst efforts at nearly ripping out all the asparagus roots a few weeks ago, those that are left continue to churn out a few spears every couple of days. Yum.



The rest of our veggies continue to not really do anything, but they aren't dying either. I'm not sure if I've rung off all the things we planted, so here goes:

-eggplant
-tomatoes (mini and normal sized)
-corn
-green peppers
-pumpkin
-habanero pepperes
-hot red peppers
-basil
-cilantro
-strawberries (planted by the people who lived here before)
-lettuce (given to us by the neighbor)
-shiso (Japanese herb, which is also this year's seasonal Pepsi flavor)
-asparagus (of course)
