I woke up in the middle of the night to such a chaotic symphony of noise that, were I not looking for every possible reason to move out of this apartment, it might have been amusing.
First the dog started barking. I figured it must be morning. Then the cats starting moaning in their ever-anti-climactic duel. Then the crow started bugging out for who knows why. Was this a chain reaction or do I really live in the twilight zone? Or are the animals just out to make me crazy?
I looked at the clock. It was 4:00 a.m. I closed the window and asked Chieko to turn the radio back on. I hate being angry when I should be catatonic. At least I had a few hours left.
